Favorite Products: March 2024

March 30, 2024

At the end of each month I gather up my favorite products, new ones I have come across and old ones I am loving at the moment. Here is the round up for March!

First up we have Stroop Club, a company that makes certified GF stroopwafels, a traditional Dutch treat. They are made with two thin, round waffle cookies with a syrup type filling in between. Stroop Club makes a Non-vegan Gluten Free Traditional Caramel Organic Stroopwafel. If you haven’t tried one yet, I highly recommend them.

Next up we have Daring. I came across this online and when I saw them in Target I had to try it out. As a celiac vegetarain, I haven’t tried any GF chicken nuggets or tenders. When I saw this breaded chicken plant based option it was love at first sight. Since initially trying it I have added these breaded buffalo tenders on top of a salad and made a chicken sandwich. They have several different products, including the following plant based chicken pieces, original, cajun, lemon and herb, teriyaki, breaded original, breaded buffalo. They also make penne primavera chicken bowl, spicy fajita chicken bowl, harvest chicken bowl, teriyaki chicken bowl and Fly by Jing chili crisp chicken bowl. If you’re looking for a plant based certified GF product, this is your guy. You can search for Daring products near you here.

Next up are two new veggie burgers launched by Dr. Praegers: CRUNCHY Southeastern Sweet Potato veggie burgers and CRUNCHY Cauliflower veggie burgers. I have loved Dr. Praegers veggie burgers for years and was so excited to see new flavors and CRUNCHY flavors! I love roasted sweet potatoes, so I was expecting to love the Southeastern Sweet Potato veggie burgers more than the Cauliflower veggie burgers, but I actually liked the CRUNCHY Cauliflower veggie burger better. It had more flavor, but I do love the crunch both veggie burgers provide. Grab these for another quick and easy dinner. I personally like veggie burgers on Glutino’s english muffins.

Lastly, UNREAL launched dark chocolate and milk chocolate covered pretzels. I found these at Whole Foods and was disappointed in the size of the package at 3.5oz (100g). Needless to say though, they are DELICIOUS. If you’re a sweet and salty snack person like me, then you have to give these a try. You can find a store locator feature on their website to find them near you. I found them with the other UNREAL products (not in the pretzel aisle) and also on an end cap.
