7 Pre-Made and Frozen Meals For Your First Week With Celiac

Written By: Kelsey Chadwick, MS RDN LDN

If you’re newly diagnosed this post is for you. If you’re not newly diagnosed, this post is also for you. These meals are perfect for when you don’t feel like cooking or need a quick weeknight meal. I think one of the hardest parts about living with celiac disease is the lack of quick meal options both at the grocery store and when you’re on the go. I have scoured grocery stores and the internet for frozen and pre-made gluten-free meals and compiled this list.

You can find these brands in most grocery stores. They’ll either be in the frozen section or in the refrigerated section. I always recommend using the store locator feature on a brand’s website to see what products your local store carries before making the trip over there. If your store doesn’t carry the products you’re looking for, let the store know! This is the best way to get new products into stores.

If you have just been diagnosed with celiac disease and don’t know where to start with cooking. Grab a few of these to keep on hand for your first few weeks. As someone who has had celiac disease for 15 years I still like to keep a few of these in my freezer for really busy days when I need a quick lunch or dinner or when I just don’t feel like cooking.
